Shoulder to shoulder
Soldiers out and about
Inside the tin man’s cave
Telling tall tales that are short lived
Between sips of bourbon
Shots are fired
In the middle
The moon hangs on
Tacked in place by
Whispers echoing
Wicked games
Such flamboyant
Surfeiting
A surefire way
To surf waves
That learning curve
“Woah”
Smoother than wax
Melting off the board
What does it say?
I come before you, to stand behind you, to tell you something I know nothing about. Admission is free, so pay at the door; pull up a chair, and sit on the floor.
Bright one morning in the middle of the night, two dead men got up to fight. Back to back they faced each other, drew out their swords; and shot one another.
A legless donkey went passing by, kicked both men squared in the eye. It knocked them over a ten foot wall; into a ditch, and drowned them all.
A deaf con artist heard their cries, came and retired those two dead guys. If you don’t believe this lie is true; just ask the blind man, he saw it too!
